Overview

Dunbia is one of Europe’s leading and respected suppliers of top-quality Beef and Lamb products for the national and international retail, commercial and food service markets and we are currently recruiting at our Carnaby site for an Apprentice Administrator reporting to the Commercial Manager.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a career in administration, you will work as part of the Commercial Department providing administrative support to the team. On a daily basis this will cover a wide range administrative tasks, in a fast-paced environment, which require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

 

The duties and responsibilities listed below indicate the range of tasks associated with the role of an Administrator for an Apprenticeship Programme and enable you to work toward a recognized qualification.

 

Salary will be discussed at interview but would be an enhanced rate.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers internally and externally
  • Administrative support to the commercial Team
  • Data processing and entry
  • Price checking for daily sales
  • Processing orders & returns
  • Assisting with organization of deliveries
  • Assisting with the preparation of stock reports and statistical data.
  • Filing and dealing with queries

Qualifications

  • A professional enthusiastic attitude, with a desire to learn
  • Proactive and professional manner with a positive ‘can-do’ approach to work
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication Skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a team and own initiative
  • IT Skills - working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel
  • GCSE Maths & English
  • Experience of Administrative tasks
  • Must be able to provide Right to Work in the UK documentation
  • Driving License essential
