Overview

We are looking for the right person to join our established and experienced Skins department at Dunbia Jaspers. The role will involve ensuring sheep skins are sorted and preserved for further processing through chilling, salting and weighing. You may also be required to assist with loading lorries for despatch. No previous experience necessary although a good work ethic and strong attendance record is a must.

 

Core hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm but some flexibility will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and be aware of the departmental Standard Operating Procedures, training will be provided to ensure you are fully up to date with all the current SOPs.
  • Maintain the fast-paced environment in line with production needs.
  • Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets.
  • Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.

Please note: this role is based at our Dunbia Jaspers site, which is situated in a rural part of Launceston with limited public transport links available.
