Overview

Are you detail-oriented and committed to driving and inspiring continuous improvement in the complex field of human rights? We are looking for a dedicated Group Ethical Compliance Officer to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

Part of the Group HR Function, the Group Ethical Compliance Officer will monitor, review and update various ethical platforms, monitor supply chain, undertake audits internally within the group and externally with service providers. Reporting to the Group Ethical Compliance Manager you will support the analysis of internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards. The ability to review data and providing key analysis is a key requirement. Additionally there will opportunities to undertake bespoke project work.

The role of the Group Ethical Compliance Officer is varied and will involve travelling within the Group sites across Great Britain and Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland.

You will also get involved in the organisation of ethical audit schedules and the liaison with the differing audit companies.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Someone with experience of working within a similar role within food manufacturing and having a passion for continuous Human Rights improvement.
  • A background and knowledge of HR and HR systems and protocols.
  • Strong communication and team building skills who will be comfortable in dealing with a wide ranging people skills.
  • Someone comfortable managing multiple tasks and delivering results against strict deadlines.
  • The ability to interpret data, transfer data accurately and clearly within the specification from information provided.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be IT literate.
  • Competent in Microsoft Packages - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
