Overview

This is a great opportunity to join our team at Dunbia Jaspers at our South Petherwin site, working for an established company within food production in our Abattoir. Candidates need to be physically fit, enthusiastic and flexible to work in our fast paced and dynamic environment. Training will be provided so you do not need any previous experience. All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.

 

Early morning Loading Bay operative required for the loading of lorries. Will require 03.00am to 06.00am starts including Saturday mornings. Lifting and carrying will be required. Progression will include some butchery saw training.

 

Pay is £11.44 per hour but there is an experienced rate when trained. Enhanced payrate when working over 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and be aware of the departmental Standard Operating Procedures, training will be provided to ensure you are fully up to date with all the current SOPs.
  • Maintain the fast-paced environment in line with production needs.
  • Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets.
  • Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
