Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team, who have a desire to produce better food naturally.

 

The role of a Labeller is responsible for verifying that finished pack labels, sleeves and outer case labels are correct meeting all legal requirements, in line with food safety and to the high quality expected by Dunbia customers.

 

 

£12.00 per hour

 

Available shifts:

 

* Shift A: Sunday 6am - 6pm, Monday 6am - 6.30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 3pm - 11pm

 

* Shift B: Tuesday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 6.30pm, Saturday 6am - 6pm

Responsibilities

  • Requesting labels or sleeves from the packaging stores
  • Checking label reference number against price sheet
  • Setting up labelling machines
  • After setting up labels, conduct first and second label check against price sheet, product specification, date coding schedule and product allergen list
  • Completing process sheet
  • At end of every production run, check and attach the last label to the process sheet

Qualifications

  • Have experience operating machinery within a manufacturing facility
  • Understand the importance of compliance with processes and procedures, and the impact of these of Food Safety and Quality
  • Maintaining production and quality standards laid down by the business, whilst ensuring that they are fully trained on Lean Manufacturing Practice and Continuous Improvement Processes
  • Have a desire to progress within the business and demonstrate a strong willingness to understand all training required
  • Possess relevant IT literacy skills
