Day Cleaning Supervisor

A vacancy has arisen for a Day Cleaning Supervisor, working on days, 6.00-2.30, Monday to Friday.  The candidate will be responsible for Supervising the Day Cleaning Team. 

• Supervision of the Day Hygiene Team Members
• Training and Development of Team Members.
• Ensuring the Day Cleaning Team work safely and adhere to all safety standards, including wearing of appropriate PPE at all times.
• Ensuring appropriate records are kept.
• Ordering of cleaning stock as required.
• Liaising with Engineering regarding any issues.
• Ensuring all areas of the site are cleaned and fully stocked to the required standard.
• Conducting Cleaning of Production areas as required.
• Ensuring all onsite laundry allocated to evenings is undertaken as per company procedures.

• You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
• You need experience and knowledge of industrial cleaning and knowing the required hygiene standards within a food production environment would be an advantage.
• You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, be confident and committed, and able to accept responsibility.
• You will be highly motivated and have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• You will be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
• You will be committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
• Your own transport is required due to shift times and no public transport being available.
