At our Preston site we are seeking to recruit an Administrator sitting within the Food Safety and Quality department who will be responsible for supporting the senior technical account manager with a wide range of administrative duties to aid the maintenance of a strong key customer relationship.

Reporting to the Senior technical account manager this position will play an integral part in ensuring our customer service reporting is of the highest standards and where possible improve our administrative processes. The candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Download and log all customer quality metrics including but not limited to complaints and online reviews
  • Undertake administrative duties across the department as a whole
  • Trend and analyse quality metrics using Excel
  • Update and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports including food safety and quality performance for retail
  • Utilise appropriate reporting tools and systems to proactively provide feedback to improve performance.
  • Prepare and organise samples for the retail customer.
  • Undertake any other supportive ad hoc requests from internal management or the customer.
  • Potential opportunity for development within the business.

Qualifications

The Person

  • Outstanding organisational skill and attention to detail.
  • Possess strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • A team player with the ability to interact with colleagues across a wide range of departments and businesses.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, communication.
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excell.
  • Ability to work under periods of high pressure and to manage workload effectively.
  • A self-managing proactive approach.

Essential Criteria

  • Desirably 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of excel is essential.
  • An ambitious, customer focused team player.
  • The role may require ad hoc travel to other Dunbia sites, customers offices or retail stores, so a full clean driving license is required.

 

Working Environment

  • Role based at Dunbia’s site in Preston.
  • Predominantly working as part of Dunbia’s food safety team but the role will require cross-functionality working alongside other departments including Commercial, Agriculture, Product Development & Insight.
  • Working with the Food Safety and Quality team and reporting directly to the Senior Technical Account Manager
  • Full on the job training will be provided
