Overview

Reporting to both the Night Cleaning Manager and the Food Safety & Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our facilities clean, safe, and ready for production each day. This is a hands-on role in a busy environment where you’ll lead by example, ensuring cleaning schedules are followed and high standards are maintained. Dunbia Sawley

Responsibilities

  • Expect to be on the front line, dedicating at least 50% of your shift to cleaning duties when the Hygiene Manager is on site.
  • Training and Development of Team Members.
  • Liaising with Engineering regarding any issues.
  • Assist in the review of all site Risk Assessments and SOP’s.
  • Promoting Health and Safety awareness and compliance campaigns onsite.
  • Ensuring all production areas are cleaned to the required standard to enable production commencement.
  • Ensuring all staff members are working efficiently and in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting to the Night Cleaning Manager to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Leading by example, especially in regard to health and safety and environmental issues.
  • Previous food manufacturing industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency with MS Office Applications
  • Good Attention to details.
  • Previous experience managing or supervising a similar-sized team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with employees across all levels and departments.
  • Own transport to work.
  • IOSH, COSH and First Aid Training would be an advantage
