This is a great opportunity to join our team at Dunbia Jasper at our South Petherwin site, working for an established company within food production in our lamb Abattoir.
Involvement in the slaughter and following processes of sheep in accordance with animal welfare regulations and guidelines. Ensure production runs efficiently by working as a team. Ensure customer and company specifications are achieved. Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
Candidates need to be physically fit, enthusiastic and flexible to work in our fast paced and dynamic environment. Ability to demonstrate knife skills. Previous experience in a production and slaughter hall environment. Be able to follow instructions and procedures. Be safety conscious. Flexible approach to work. Have a commitment to quality work and reliability. Be willing to gain new skills and experience. Have the ability to work on own initiative whilst also working as part of a team.
