This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team, who have a desire to produce better food naturally.   The role of Machine Setter will be considered a Senior Operative working closely with the Engineering/Production Manager and assisting in the tool changing and machine setup operations.  

Working within the packing area within the Abattoir. Will be responsible for packing offal and help support the hall for a temporary period.   Once this period is completed, will transition to the hall itself to complete daily tasks. This can include trimming; reading ear tags; hygiene. This is not an exhaustive list and will be discussed with you if you complete a site tour.  

Loading Bay Operative is a role working within the operations department. It involves ensuring the continuous movement of the operation whilst ensuring quality is produced for our customers. There are multiple roles that can be completed and we ensure rotation within the department to enhance your skills and development with us as a company.

Overview:   Working at the West Devon Abattoir site in Hatherleigh. The Hygiene Operative will be ensuring the production areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Rotating between different zones on a monthly basis.   Full training is provided on site to ensure that the individual is competent in all areas of the role.  

This is a great opportunity to join our team at Dunbia Jaspers at our South Petherwin site, working for an established company within food production in our busy lamb Abattoir. Training will be provided so you do not need any previous experience.   All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.
